LILT Laser Book
Carpal Tunnel
3 Things You Don’t Know About Your $20 Laser Pointer That Could Fix Your Carpal Tunnel Problems:
- 1. The FDA formed an entirely new class of medical device based on large part to a study done by General Motors which specifically used low level laser light to successfully treat carpal tunnel syndrome.
- 2. Nerves “love the laser”.
- 3. The muscles of the forearm “love the laser”, too! They are usually involved in carpal tunnel syndrome.
Treatments covered in this chapter are High Confidence/Low Risk.
In 1994, General Motors took part in a study to see if low-level coherent light therapy really did help carpal tunnel syndrome.156 In seven plants, the company experienced an 85% success rate. The results were so striking that the FDA formed a completely new category for this type of treatment. Research has repeatedly shown that coherent light is safe and effective for carpal tunnel syndrome.157,158,159
Carpal tunnel syndrome is experienced as pain or numbness radiating from the palm-side of the wrist, extending into the hand or arm, or both. There is a space/tunnel in the wrist that the median nerve passes through, and it can get trapped/squeezed there. The General Motors study consisted of using coherent light on the wrist itself. My LILT laser book will help guide you.
My approach involves not only the wrist, but also the forearm. Please review figure 11.
Your free hand will be the palpating hand. Feel for the long bones on the sides of the wrist. (Squeeze side to side.)
Palpating means that you are probing with your fingers. Place your hand and forearm on a table, palm-side down.
After you find them, follow them up the forearm, about halfway.
Now, change your palpating hand position, rotating it so that you are squeezing the forearm muscles that are between those bones, and squeeze through the arm between the two bones. (Figure 11.A.)
Probe and squeeze the muscles, looking for areas of tenderness, between the two long bones of the arm, working your way towards the elbow. Actually, the massage you are inadvertently doing is beneficial to carpal tunnel syndrome. If you find something “ropey” and painful, you have found it. If your middle finger pops up, you are a “hot one.” This chapter will work great on you, and your carpal tunnel will improve.
Deep Massage of the Forearms
This is an important thing to do, in addition to the coherent light therapy. Do this in the beginning, no more than once per week. I have found this to be quite reliable for clearing out carpal tunnel syndrome, even before I started using coherent light therapy.
I believe that when there is myofascitis of the forearm musculature (it is sore and stiff when squeezed), it torques the two arm bones you have found like a couple of chopsticks and pulls on the carpal bones as well.
When that happens, the eight tiny carpal bones of the wrist (that form the carpal tunnel arch) “flatten out” that arch, just a bit, and the tunnel becomes smaller.
When you relieve those forearm muscles of their abnormal tension, with massage and coherent light therapy, those two arm bones return to their proper relationship, and the carpal tunnel arch is restored, thus relieving the nerve pressure. I am trying to keep this simple, but if you are curious, the long bones are called the radius and ulna.
Therefore, the coherent light therapy to the forearm is meant for treating the sick, sore muscle and fascia, and the coherent light therapy applied to the wrist is meant to help heal the sick squeezed nerve found in the carpal tunnel.
How to Treat Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
The clinicians of physical therapy are beginning to use different types of rejuvenation with light therapy in the United States. An LLLT laser book is very well accepted. Chiropractic is usually open to new ideas, and has found this new technology very helpful. Indirect low level laser illumination of the prostate gland has been shown to be helpful in healing prostatitis. Please do check out the other sections of this site about rejuvenation. We have great information about the heart, and how you can prevent a heart attack, or actually treat your heart after a heart attack. If you have a hypothyroidism condition, (“low thyroid” function,) this can be helped by illuminating the thyroid gland with coherent light, otherwise known as laser rejuvenation light, low level laser therapy, cold laser therapy, low laser therapy, laser light therapy, and other names. Laser rejuvenation light is just one more way to describe the fascinating effects of coherent light on tissues and body systems with an LLLT laser book.
We do have a remedy for avoiding root canals,. You can insure a successful tooth implant. You can help yourself while recovering from a stroke. Testosterone blood levels may be increased by illuminating the testicles with a small amount of coherent light. I use the same amount of energy as a tiny 1-watt light bulb that is on for one third of a second. That’s like nothing. We are only touching the surface of what is ahead in the way of using this LILT Laser Book. Weight loss is always helped by a weight loss diet, but illumination of the low thyroid gland may double or triple your results! Obesity and other over weight conditions can be helped by speeding up the hypothyroidism condition with coherent light. You might even achieve weight loss without a weight loss diet.
Medical science has all this information available, but mostly ignores it. There’s just no money in it. The body systems are covered in the book as well. body Systems are influenced by laser light therapy. Carpal tunnel syndrome is a problem for many people, and you can find help here. People with diabetes often get diabetic neuropathy, which typically means Diabetic numb feet. Someone with diabetes and other related problems responds remarkably well when a laser is used properly. Laser rejuvenation light is the title of this website.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is an easy problem to fix in most cases. A person with carpal tunnel syndrome, a laser pointer and this book will not have the carpal tunnel syndrome for long!
